Filmmaker / Content Creator (Part Time with Full Time Opportunity)
As a Filmmaker and Content Creator at CrossWalk Church, you will create works that inspire and inform audiences to grow in their personal faith.
General Responsibilities
• You’ll concept, write, edit, and produce scripts as needed.
• You’ll develop and communicate vision for all work to solve problems concisely and creatively.
• You’ll collaborate with a team to budget, cast, scout, and produce work.
• You’ll develop systems to produce content for online audiences, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and etc.
• You’ll manage the technical aspects of the film, including cameras, sound, lighting, design, and etc.
• You’ll handle the post-production work to solve problems appropriately.
• You’ll collaborate closely with the rest of the Communications Team to brainstorm opportunities for greater impact.
• You’ll build, equip, and develop a volunteer filmmaking team across all church locations.
Must-Haves
• 2+ years experience in film/video making
• Film portfolio available online (Personal Website, YouTube, or Vimeo is fine)
• Extensive understanding of film-making process
• Great at connecting with people and building teams
• Video editing proficiency (Adobe Premiere / DaVinci Resolve)
• Inspired by telling stories in a unique and creative way
• Very high attention to detail
• Great time management skills & ability to work under pressure
• Exceptional communication skills
Nice-To-Haves
• Film degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in motion graphics and special effects
• Comfortable working on both Windows and Apple devices
