A MESSAGE FROM PASTORS MARK & PAM

After consulting with local health officials, comparing best practices with other churches, and conducting very careful preparation, CrossWalk is finally reopening our buildings for services after thirteen weeks of closure.

We have such an expectancy about the new days we're launching into. May God grace us for them and commission us to go forth in faith. The body of believers is a very important place of refuge for those seeking peace, comfort, and healing. We are “living stones” connected together (1 Peter 2:5), our faith is encouraged by each other’s presence (Romans 1:12), and we cannot neglect meeting together for too long (Hebrews 10:25).

But when we meet, it will be a new normal due to all the precautions that must be taken in order to ensure a safe place.  Our team has worked hard to create a SAFE, SPACIOUS, SANITARY, and SPECTACULAR environment.

We are also aware of those who may be sick, high-risk, or reluctant to return right away. Our Church at Home online platform will not change. As we gather in-person, we will still be maintaining the 10:00 service on our website, Facebook, and Youtube.

Nothing can replace the physical presence of each other. Together is better. We encourage you to join us for our church FAMILY REUNION as we gather together in Jesus' name!

SOCIAL DISTANCING
PROCEDURES

1. Doors to the exterior, auditorium, and bathrooms will be propped open.

2. Masks are required in the lobby and recommended in the auditorium (sorry, no hugs yet). Please bring your own. We do have disposable ones if you happen to forget yours.

3. No consumables will be distributed - communion, coffee, etc.

4. No two-minute turnaround during the service.

5. No offering collection during the service. Let’s continue to give online or drop our offerings in the boxes at the exits.

6. No LIVE Kidswalk ministries. Kidswalk services will still be available online as they have been for the duration of this season. Families will be encouraged to sit together in the auditorium. We will distribute a small "survival kit" for smaller children that will include simple activities. The services will be abbreviated since children’s attention spans are shorter. There is also a designated "cry room" area at each location.

7. Every other row will be blocked off so that social distancing can be maintained.

8. Hand sanitizers will be available at the Connect Center.

9. The facilities team will wipe down frequently touched areas with sanitation supplies before and after the service.

10. A sign will be at the entrance encouraging people with COVID symptoms or who are high risk to continue joining us safely online instead of in person.

11. All other groups are asked to continue meeting on Zoom instead of in person - connect groups, CrossWalk Youth, Collective Young Adults, Sisterhood, etc.

12. Our service will be live-streamed online for those who are sick or high risk.
